Copied.....
Campaign against Jokes centred on our faith, Christ and the Church is on going.
Don't encourage such jokes. It is making mockery of our faith, Christian preachings and trivialising the essence of such teaching and issues of the Christian faith.
Don't allow stand up comedians get away with such jokes. We haven't heard them make jokes with Islam and its teaching. Or don't Muslims have reasons to laugh and get excited? They jealously guard their faith and don't allow anyone make a Mockery of it. When Prophet Mohammed was cartooned somewhere in Denmark some years ago, we saw the global outrage by Muslims. They condemned it with every strong term and a lot of Christians in Nigeria were killed by Muslims as a result. Unfortunately, Christians allow all sorts of trivialities about our faiths thereby whittling down the essence of Christianity.
Have you considered how the psyche of Children will be affected if they read that joke which says "there will be no easter this year because Judas refused to betray Jesus" or "there will be no Christmas because Mary refused to give birth to Jesus"?
Please Christians don't allow momentary fun and laughter destroy the basis of our faith. Reprimand with respect anyone who attempts to make jokes with our dearly beloved Jesus, the church, the bible, etc. No comedian should further his or her trade with sacred issues like the ones mentioned above.
Enough is enough.
Keep educating Christians around you.
Reject any of such jokes from comedians or even friends and relatives around you.
Let the message go to everyone.
God bless you.

My contribution.....By Tayo Onaleye
Exo 20:7 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
Eph 5:4 Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.
I've been preaching against jesting with our faith for years now.
Many Christians don't have high regard for the things of the kingdom.
There's a proverb in Yoruba language that only a bastard points to his father's house with the left hand.
We must earnestly contend for our faith. Jude verse 3
We must not sing the Lord's song in a strange land.
Psa 137:4 How shall we sing the LORD'S song in a strange land?
Everything about our kingdom must be hallowed......deeply honoured and respected.
Matt 6.9 ..... Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
We must not cast our pearls before swine.
Mat 7:6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.
If we don't respect our God....our Saviour.....our Comforter....our kingdom.....our doctrines and heritage......our pastors and leaders......who will?
If we sell ourselves cheap who will place value on us?
Let us not be partakers or promoters of dishonor to our kingdom.
Let us hold the things of the kingdom in very high esteem.
You can joke with anything but not my Jesus...not my God.....not my Comforter......not my leaders.......not my brethren.......not our kingdom.
Take a stand for the honour of the kingdom.
You're blessed in Jesus name.
Cheers.
